Renee Zhan
Biography:Renee Zhan is a Chinese-American director and animator from Houston, Texas. She graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Visual and Environmental Studies in 2016 and is currently living in London, working toward her MA at the National Film and Television School.In her work she is interested in exploring the fine line between the lovely and the grotesque while working through themes of identity, sexuality, and consumption. Her films have screened and won awards at film festivals around the world, including Locarno, TIFF, SXSW, Telluride, and Slamdance. Her short film, Reneepoptosis, won the 2019 Jury Award for Animated Short at the Sundance Film Festival.

Synopsis
Three Renees go on a quest to find God, who is also Renee. As they traverse the mountains and valleys of Renee, they discover all the great joys, mysteries, and tragedies of being Renee.
