Sonia Joubert has been an actress for 8 years. After completing her high school diploma (specialized in theater), Sonia was hired by her theatre teacher to join his company, and was cast in The Love of Game and Chance by Marivaux and Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare.
After completing a formal acting training at the Conservatory of the 10th District in Paris, she appears on stage in Goodbye Candide, an adaptation of Candide by Voltaire, and The Body of a Woman as a Battelfield in the Bosnian War, by Matei Visniec, among other projects.
She appears in movie theater releases such as Farewell, My Queen by Benoit Jacquot and Black Venus by Abdelattif Kechiche, and in TV series (Main Courante, Un Village Francais, RIS...), shorts and commercials.
But all these years, she's wanted to write a story and bring it to the screen. She's finally fulfilling her dream with her first short, SUN.Filmography:
Lola, a young mother of three children, is waiting for her ex-boyfriend to call her: he's supposed to look over the children during her job interview at a grocery store. But it turns out he's not coming. She decides to take her children with her, and leaves them alone on the parking lot of the mall while she's being interviewed...
