  • Jonathan Millet

Jonathan Millet was born in Paris. After studying philosophy, he left for many years from far away or inaccessible countries for image data banks. Alone with his camera, he crosses and lme some fifty countries (Iran, Sudan, Pakistan, all of South America, the Middle East, Africa all over). He is especially encouraged to go to the most remote regions. He thus begins to learn to grasp faces and spaces, to try to transcribe an atmosphere into a few shots. After this experience, he made three short films, Old Love Desert (2012), Tu tournes en rond dans la nuit et tu es devore par le feu (2015), Et toujours nous marcherons (2016) and a medium length film, La Veillee (2017). These films have been selected in many festivals (Clermont-Ferrand, Pantin, Palm Springs, Brest...). He is also directing the feature-length documentary Ceuta, douce prison which will be released in January 2014 after more than 60 selections in international festivals. In 2017, he completes his documentary project, Dernieresnouvelles des etoiles, shot in Antarctica.

If a domino wobbles and then falls, it irretrievably drags the others with it. This is how Antoine's story begins.
