    Nima Yousefi grew up with parents who worked with film and theatre in both Iran and Sweden. At a very early age, Nima fell in love with the craft and art of movie productions. Nima studied Economics and Philosophy at Stockholm University School of Business in order to go into producing films.During recent years Nima has gotten a broad experience working with both live action and animation films with some of Sweden's most well known production companies.In 2010, Nima started working as a junior producer at the production company HOBAB, which has produced over 30 feature films. Nima Yousefi is an EAVE Puentes graduate and important festivals and Co-production markets have selected his projects and films, including No Borders International Co-production Market during IFP Week, MOME Finance Lab NYC, San Sebastian Film Festival's Co-Production Forum, Film London Market, Guadalajara Co-production Meeting and Bogota Audiovisual Market. Since 2016 Nima is 50% owner of HOBAB.HOBAB is a dynamic film production company based in Stockholm, Sweden with a track record of 30 features produced. Heads of the company are Peter Krupenin, together with Nima.Their production branch is focused on films for children, youth and family as the primary audience and arthouse films with international connections.The philosophy of the company is to support projects focused on diversity and core values, targeted for a broad audience. At the moment, HOBAB is focused on finding connections with internationally attractive partner for future collaboration, both creatively and financially.Nima's most remarkable works as a producer includes Stupid Young Heart, which premiered at TIFF 2018 and awaits an exciting European premiere, A White, White Day (in post-production), Ibracadabra (in development and backed by Creative Europe), Clara Sola (backed by Hubert Bals) and Sagoland, (animated film for a young audience, that is in cinemas in Sweden from October 2018).
