Synopsis

Mrs Hirth, a Holocaust survivor, makes her 6 year-old daughter afraid people will steal from them, causing her loving friendship with the family cleaner to fall apart. Ganef (Yiddish for 'thief') explores how inherited trauma distorts the most delicate things.
